About Cook Bright Initiative
Overview
CCCI Africa works to close the justice gap in energy access by providing clean cooking technologies to families currently reliant on wood, charcoal, and kerosene. We partner with rural women, smallholder farmers, and community leaders to deploy sustainable solutions that cut fuel use, protect forests, and return economic agency to those most affected by energy poverty.
Mission
CCCI Africa’s mission is to eradicate energy poverty by distributing 200,000 clean cookstoves by 2030, cutting 1 million tons of CO₂ annually, and creating 50,000 green jobs.
Values
We believe clean cooking is a human right, a climate solution, and an economic catalyst. We are committed to community ownership, data-driven impact, and the empowerment of women as central figures in the clean energy transition.
