About Initiative Pour la Promotion de la Famille et du Genre (IPFG)
Overview
Initiative Pour la Promotion de la Famille et du Genre (IPFG) is a women-led non-profit organization established in 2002 to foster socio-economic development and family welfare in Rwanda. We work to promote gender complementarity and active participation in community development through initiatives in agricultural production, climate change mitigation, and the economic empowerment of women and youth.
Mission
To promote and reinforce complementarity between men and women as well as their participation in actions that aim to achieve social and economic development based on fairness.
Values
The organization values fairness, complementarity, and the active participation of both men and women in all decision-making processes to ensure the complete development of the family.
