About Legal Aid Forum (LAF)
Overview
The Legal Aid Forum (LAF) is a Rwandan civil society organisation and founding member of the African Centre of Excellence for Access to Justice (ACE-AJ), a Pan-African platform that strengthens access to justice, legal empowerment, human rights and people-centred justice across Africa. LAF hosts the ACE-AJ Secretariat in Kigali.
Mission
To promote and support the provision of accessible and quality legal aid services while protecting and promoting human rights for all.
Values
The organization is guided by principles of equality, access to justice for vulnerable populations, and the promotion of human rights through research, advocacy, and capacity building.
