Réseau des Femmes Oeuvrant pour le Développement Rural

Réseau des Femmes Oeuvrant pour le Développement Rural is the first long-lasting women-led non-governmental organization with a national scope in Rwanda. Since its founding in 1986, the organization has worked to promote the status of rural Rwandan women through advocacy, education, and resource provision. With members across all districts of Rwanda, the organization implements projects focused on sexual and reproductive health, environmental protection, and the alleviation of unpaid domestic work, striving to build a society where women and men have equal rights and contribute to sustainable development.
