About TEACH FOR Uganda
Overview
Teach For Uganda (TFU) is a non-profit organization that believes every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, deserves an excellent education. We build a movement of capable leaders by recruiting, training, and placing top university graduates and young professionals in high-need primary schools for a two-year teaching fellowship. Through this program, we aim to transform educational outcomes for less-privileged children while cultivating a network of alumni leaders committed to long-term systemic change in the education sector.
Mission
To nurture leaders who are committed to advancing equitable access to quality education for children in low-income communities.
Values
The organization is driven by the belief that leadership and collective action can end education inequity. They prioritize excellence, equity, and the development of leaders who are committed to transforming the lives of students and their communities.
