About The Wellspring Foundation for Education
Overview
The Wellspring Foundation for Education has been supporting quality, values-based, and inclusive education in Rwanda since 2004. By working alongside school communities and within education systems, we empower teachers, leaders, and parents to create supportive environments where children can thrive. Our approach combines grassroots training with systemic advocacy to catalyze lasting change, preparing the next generation to be peacebuilders, changemakers, and leaders in their communities.
Mission
We equip school communities to nurture children’s character, intellect, and wellbeing—helping children in Rwanda and East Africa to thrive.
Values
Wellspring values and encourages diversity, striving to be equitable and non-discriminatory in all activities. We are passionate about seeking justice, worth, and dignity for all those with whom we engage.
