About TVET Council
Overview
The TVET Council is Uganda's national regulator for Technical and Vocational Education and Training. Established under the TVET Act, 2025, it regulates, licenses and accredits all TVET providers, programmes and trainers to ensure a skilled, globally competitive workforce.
Mission
To provide leadership, coordination, and oversight across the TVET system, ensuring that training remains relevant, credible, and aligned with the needs of the economy.
