Overview
World Vision Uganda (WVU) is a Christian NGO, part of World Vision International, working since 1986 to fight poverty in Uganda by focusing on children, families, and communities through development, relief, and advocacy in areas like health, education, water, child protection, and livelihood, aiming for holistic transformation by addressing root causes of injustice and poverty with sustainable, community-based solutions.
Mission
To work with communities to tackle poverty and injustice, helping children and families reach their full potential by focusing on health, education, child protection, livelihoods, and WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene).
