Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the teller counter, including deposits, withdrawals and payments
- Balance cash at the start and end of each shift and maintain accurate till records
- Provide information about the bank's Shariah-compliant products and services to customers
- Resolve customer queries professionally and escalate issues appropriately
- Ensure compliance with the bank's policies, procedures and financial controls
- Maintain a positive, professional and welcoming customer experience
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in a business, finance or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in banking operations or a customer service role
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong customer service skills and a background in banking operations
- Accuracy, integrity, professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
