Cleaner

The Cleaner will maintain cleanliness, hygiene and orderliness in the offices, facilities and surrounding premises of ABAHIZI SACCO NGOMA, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming working environment for staff, members and visitors. The position reports to Human Resources, Logistics and Procurement.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Clean offices, meeting rooms, corridors, reception areas, toilets and other designated premises daily
Sweep, mop, dust and polish floors, furniture, windows, doors and other office surfaces
Clean and disinfect toilets, washrooms and other shared facilities regularly
Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in designated areas in accordance with hygiene and environmental requirements
Ensure cleaning materials, tools and equipment are properly used, cleaned and stored after use
Monitor the availability of cleaning materials and report shortages to the supervisor in good time
Maintain cleanliness in the compound and surrounding areas, collecting litter where applicable
Report any damage, maintenance issues, leakages or safety hazards observed during cleaning
Handle office furniture, equipment and property carefully to avoid damage
Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of staff, members and visitors
Assist in preparing meeting rooms for meetings, trainings and official events
