Teller

• Conduct cash-related services to members such as withdrawals and deposits
• Initiate transfers from member accounts, including inter-branch transfers
• Perform cheque-related services such as crediting a cheque
• Disburse loans and perform change of coinage and foreign exchange
• Support opening, filling, discharging and closing of the till
• Welcome and assist members who need deposit and withdrawal services and fill out member booklets correctly
• Manage the till/store under his/her responsibility and safeguard daily funds
• Participate in the daily closing of operations, especially the control of funds, and provide all supporting documents
• Perform cross-selling of the SACCO's products and services
• Be held accountable for all errors in daily operations, including shortage or surplus of funds

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least secondary education (A2) in a related domain

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic IT literacy of CBS (Core Banking System) and Office
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
• Good math skills and attention to detail
• Customer satisfaction orientation
