Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all daily kitchen operations
- Plan, develop and update menus according to customer preferences and business needs
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of high-quality dishes
- Supervise, train and motivate kitchen staff
- Assign duties and organize kitchen work schedules
- Ensure food quality, taste, presentation and consistency
- Monitor food costs, portion sizes and kitchen expenses
- Manage food inventory and stock levels
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a senior kitchen position
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent cooking and food preparation skills
- Strong leadership and team management
- Menu planning and food presentation
- Food cost control and budget management
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
- Inventory and stock management
