AC Technician

• Install split, window, cassette and other AC units according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
• Carry out site surveys to advise on unit placement, pipe routing and power requirements; test and commission newly installed units and demonstrate their operation to customers
• Diagnose faults in AC systems, including electrical, refrigerant, compressor and control problems
• Carry out repairs and replace faulty parts such as capacitors, fan motors, sensors and PCBs
• Perform routine servicing, including cleaning filters and coils, checking gas levels and leak detection; handle refrigerant gas safely, including recharging and recovery
• Respond to service calls and complaints within agreed turnaround times and explain faults, repair options and costs clearly to customers
• Complete job cards, service reports and customer sign-offs for every job; identify and record warranty claims
• Look after company tools, equipment and vehicles; request spare parts in good time and follow health and safety procedures, especially for work at heights, electrical work and gas handling
• Work with sales, showroom and logistics teams to schedule installations and deliveries; assist junior technicians and helpers

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of a Certificate in a relevant technical field (refrigeration and air conditioning or similar)
• At least 1 year of hands-on AC installation, service and repair experience
• Sound knowledge of AC systems, refrigerant handling and safe electrical work
• Ability to diagnose faults in electrical, refrigerant, compressor and control systems
• English language requirement
