Anesthetic Assistant

• Prepare and clean anesthesia equipment tailored to each case
• Assist anesthesia provider during induction and emergence phases
• Support daily OR routines as directed by anesthesia provider or Operating Room In-Charge
• Restock anesthesia cart and store daily; monitor usage and reorder supplies
• Safely handle Oxygen, Medical Air, Nitrous Oxide, and Nitrogen cylinders
• Inspect anesthesia machines and accessories for damage; clean and disinfect daily
• Comply with hospital health and safety policies including safe handling of instruments
• Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively across disciplines
• Participate in devotional time before surgery and attend chapel and Bible studies

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completed Certificate in Medical Theatre Techniques or equivalent
• Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council
• Ability to handle confidential documents appropriately

• Computer literacy (added advantage)
