The Area Sales Manager is responsible for the management, training, and development of several optical branches in Uganda to drive sales and profitability.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop high knowledge of its territory & offer
- Increase brand awareness and sensitize potential customers
- Lead, train and inspire teams of Branch Managers and sales staff
- Monitor performance and implement effective sales strategies
- Ensure proper accounting, financial management, and branch maintenance
- Supervise stocks and handle customer/supplier complaints
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration or any relevant field.
- +4 years of professional experience in a business/retail setting.
- Previous experience in store, team and business management is required.
- Proficiency in accounting and analysis software (Excel and CRMs etc.).
- Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes.
- Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential.
