Business Development Officer - Agriculture

• Work with supervisor in the analysis of the performance of the Alternative Distribution Channel (ADC) and propose and implement initiatives for growth
• Drive achievement of sales revenue targets of different agency outlets, partner outlets, and travel book
• Conduct spot/audit checks on productivity of agency and partner outlets and adherence to company and regulatory requirements
• Ensure all internal compliance requirements are adhered to including agents licensing and renewal requirements
• Support smooth running of ADC operations as guided by the ADC lead
• Serve as primary contact for agent inquiries and concerns and ensure timely closure
• Support training initiatives of the ADC for agents and respective partner outlets
• Effectively allocate all premiums from MTP stations in liaison with Finance as per UIA system
• Prepare timely reports for the channel as need arises
• Deliver on performance requirements as defined in department strategy map and Personal Scorecard

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
• 3-5 years experience in a similar position
• Experience working with diverse teams
• Experience in the financial services sector with focus on business development is an added advantage
