Business Development Trainee

As a Business Development Trainee you will support sales growth by researching prospects, qualifying leads and keeping the sales pipeline moving in the company CRM.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Research and identify potential corporate clients and organisations
Identify businesses with recruitment, staffing and workforce management needs
Build and maintain a quality prospect database with accurate decision-maker contacts
Contact prospects through approved channels and qualify leads
Create and manage sales opportunities in the CRM
Arrange client meetings and sales appointments
Support presentations, proposals and quotations
Follow up consistently with prospects and active opportunities
Re-engage dormant or undecided prospects
Record reasons for lost opportunities and provide market feedback

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field
Entry level trainee role, suitable for fresh graduates with strong sales interest

Skills & Competencies:

Strong research and prospecting skills
Confident communication and follow-up discipline
Comfort using CRM systems and keeping records up to date
Self-driven with interest in business growth
