To provide supportive, safe, and compassionate patient care to cardiac patients, under the supervision of nursing and medical staff, by assisting with patient mobility, hygiene, comfort, transportation, basic observations, and maintenance of a clean and sate care environment This is a full-time position at the Institute headquarters in Mulago, Kampala.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties.
- Keep wards/units in order
- Transport patients for investigations
- Send orders to stores/picking orders
- Take samples to the laboratories
- Maintain sterility in the unit
- Clean and maintain instruments
- Take and pick linen and instruments to and from the sterilization unit
- Pack linen and swabs.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- O. Level certificate
- Training in any health-related course is added advantage
Skills & Competencies:
- Compassionate patient care
- Attention to hygiene, safety and sterility
- Reliability and physical stamina
- Communication skills
