Description (Public)
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Process cash, mobile money and card payments accurately using the restaurant Point of Sale (POS) system
- Welcome guests warmly, answer basic questions about the menu and handle order receipts
- Count the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts to ensure accurate balances with zero discrepancies
- Guide incoming orders to the kitchen or service staff efficiently to minimise guest wait times
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience working in a cashier, retail teller or front-facing customer service role
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent mental math and basic computer skills
- Familiarity with POS machines and mobile money merchant systems
- High level of integrity and extreme attention to detail
- Cheerful demeanor and strong communication skills
