Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive payments for food, drinks and events and issue receipts.
- Reconcile cash, mobile money and card takings at the close of each shift.
- Prepare daily sales summaries for the Floor Manager.
- Handle bill splitting, refunds and voids according to policy.
- Keep the till secure and the float accurate at all times.
- Support price checks and stock counts at the point of sale.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- A-level or certificate in accounting, business or a related field.
- Experience handling cash and receipts, preferably in hospitality or retail.
- Numerate with a clean record of handling money.
Skills & Competencies:
- Accuracy and integrity with cash.
- Comfort with POS systems and mobile money.
- Good customer service manner.
- Organised record keeping.
