Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Process approved payments for the production company in line with financial procedures
- Verify payment instructions, supporting documents, amounts and approvals before processing
- Maintain accurate records of payments including transaction dates, amounts, recipients and reference numbers
- Organise, file and maintain payment vouchers, receipts, invoices and bank slips
- Liaise with banks on routine transactions, follow up pending payments and confirmations
- Resolve transaction discrepancies and obtain relevant bank documentation
- Report payment discrepancies and unusual transactions to the supervisor
- Handle payment information with confidentiality and integrity
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Banking or a related field is preferred
- At least one year of experience as a Cashier or in accounts, banking operations or payment processing
- Familiarity with bank transfers, payment documentation, filing systems and basic financial controls
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Familiarity with banking platforms, electronic payments and accounting software is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, honesty and integrity
- Willing to work at the company's production facility in Kapeeka, Luwero District
