Chemistry and Biology Teacher (2 Positions)

• Deliver high-quality instruction in Chemistry and Biology
• Develop comprehensive schemes of work, lesson plans and continuous assessment practices
• Conduct practical laboratory instruction and problem-solving activities
• Provide pastoral support and mentorship and maintain accurate academic records
• Participate in co-curricular activities and foster a safe, disciplined and inclusive learning environment grounded in Christian values
• Promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, innovation and holistic student development
• Model Christian values, integrity, professionalism and servant leadership

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science with Education (BSc Ed.) or a relevant Bachelor of Science degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education
• Specialization in Chemistry and/or Biology
• Minimum of two (2) years' teaching experience in a secondary school or similar educational setting
• A mature and practicing Christian who models faith through character and lifestyle
• No criminal record and no history of child abuse, neglect or misconduct

Skills & Competencies:

• Demonstrated competence in practical laboratory instruction and classroom teaching
• Experience in a boarding school environment is preferred
• Training in first aid, laboratory safety or occupational health and safety is an advantage
• Familiarity with competency-based education and curriculum frameworks
• Experience organizing science fairs, competitions or exhibitions is an advantage
