• Follow up on overdue loan accounts via calls, texts, emails and in-person visits
• Negotiate repayment plans with delinquent clients in line with company policy
• Ensure timely collection of arrears, penalties and outstanding balances; issue demand notices and reminders
• Conduct in-person visits to clients' homes, workplaces or business premises for follow-up and recovery
• Verify continued possession, location and condition of vehicles held as collateral
• Maintain detailed field visit reports and records of client interactions
• Identify high-risk accounts and recommend repossession when recovery efforts fail
• Coordinate with approved repossession agents, bailiffs, auctioneers or legal officers; ensure repossession activities comply with Ugandan law
• Maintain accurate records of repossessed vehicles and their recovery status
• Monitor the assigned loan portfolio and ageing reports daily; prepare daily, weekly and monthly recovery performance reports
• Promptly escalate problem accounts and fraud-related cases
• Treat every client with dignity and professionalism; avoid harassment and unlawful recovery practices; protect client data
• Collaborate closely with Credit Officers, Operations, Legal and Field Teams and share feedback on loan quality and risk trends

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit recovery or lending

• Willingness to travel frequently
