Collections & Receivables Officer

• Follow up overdue invoices in person, by phone and by email
• Secure payment commitments and negotiate realistic repayment plans
• Collect payments and report them to the accounts team the same day
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
• Keep accurate visit and collection records
• Prepare weekly outstanding balance and recovery reports

Qualifications & Experience:

• Senior Six (UACE) minimum; a diploma or degree in Accounting, Business or a related field is an added advantage
• One to two years in debt collection, credit control, sales or field follow-ups
• Valid motorcycle riding permit is required; a car driving licence is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of Kampala routes; local language skills an advantage

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong negotiation skills, firm and respectful
• Comfortable reading customer statements and reconciling balances
• Comfortable with Excel or Sheets, mobile money and AI tools
• Honest, organised and able to work independently
