CRB Officer

• Coordinate the bank's credit reporting to the credit reference bureaus
• Ensure data integrity on the information reported to CRBs
• Undertake continuous data clean-up on both the good and the bad book
• Coordinate the retrieval of information from CRBs for purposes of credit analysis
• Ensure the bank is in compliance with the CRB regulations at all times
• Prepare and submit periodic CRB reports to the regulator as required
• Investigate and ensure timely resolution of all disputes from the bureaus and clients
• Monitor reconciliation of CRB related payments
• Run online CRB reports and share them as and when required by branches and other units
• Ensure loan applications are well captured by branches under credit applications
• Resolve customer disputes and queries on the bank's submitted data in conjunction with the Legal Unit
• Update the bank's data earlier submitted to CRBs, amending submissions made with errors or obsolete data
• Liaise with Relationship Managers, Branch Managers and branch staff to ensure information is submitted per bank policy and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant academic qualifications (Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field)
• Knowledge of credit reference bureau operations and Bank of Uganda CRB regulations is an advantage
• No prior experience required; the role is open to qualified candidates at officer level
