SimplePay Capital is seeking motivated, goal-oriented interns to join its team as Collections Officers and Loans Officers. Interns play a key role in managing and expanding the loan portfolio, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer retention in line with company standards. Openings are spread across Mukono, Lyantonde, Ntungamo, Kasese, Fort Portal, Mityana, Ishaka, Kabale, Nabingo, Jinja, Busia, Masaka, Kyotero, Mbarara, Kireka, Kajjansi, Mubende, and the Far West and Far East regions.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Collections: track repayment schedules, follow up on upcoming or missed payments and negotiate repayment plans to avoid defaults
Collections: manage recovery of overdue loans and maintain accurate records of collection efforts and recoveries
Loans: attract new customers and cultivate strong client relationships to meet acquisition and retention targets
Loans: review, assess and process loan applications, disburse loans and monitor their progress in compliance with company policies
Conduct KYC and due-diligence checks so clients are thoroughly vetted and up-to-date
Provide clear information on loan options, repayment schedules and terms so customers understand their obligations
Identify potential fraud risks or suspicious loan applications
Work closely with the Branch Manager and team to ensure smooth loan management and collection processes, meeting performance targets
