Description (Public)
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and implement a data-use and performance-improvement approach for national and subnational stakeholders
- Facilitate MOH-led data review meetings, district performance reviews, and data-use clinics
- Support use of dashboards for EMR adoption, reporting timeliness, and system performance
- Help teams translate evidence into prioritized improvement actions with owners and deadlines
- Support development of decision-oriented products for MOH leadership and program managers
- Coordinate with analytics and data quality teams on dashboard design
- Document learning, implementation lessons, and adaptive management decisions
- Strengthen local facilitation capacity for sustainable data-use processes
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in public health, health informatics, epidemiology, M&E, statistics, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in data use, performance improvement, M&E, or health systems strengthening
- Demonstrated experience facilitating data review meetings and quality-improvement processes
Skills & Competencies:
- Familiarity with DHIS2, EMRs, dashboards, and routine health data
- Strong facilitation, analytical, presentation, and stakeholder-engagement skills
- Professional fluency in English
