Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive institute vehicles including passenger buses for patient and staff transport
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report mechanical faults promptly
- Maintain the vehicle logbook and fuel records
- Observe traffic laws and institute transport policies at all times
- Support delivery of supplies and errands as assigned
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Uganda Certificate of Education or equivalent
- Valid driving permit of the relevant class, including passenger service vehicle class for the bus role
- Previous driving experience with a clean record and defensive driving training is an advantage
Skills & Competencies:
- Careful and courteous driving manner
- Basic mechanical knowledge and vehicle care
- Punctuality, honesty and good record keeping
