Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for approved source systems and NDWH data products
- Implement transformations, validation rules, scheduling, exception handling, and automated alerting
- Support migration from fragile manual processes to approved, monitored exchange patterns
- Maintain pipeline documentation, source-to-target mappings, and version-controlled code
- Investigate pipeline failures, data discrepancies, and quality exceptions
- Support data mart refreshes and preparation of reliable extracts for dashboards
- Participate in peer review, testing, and operational handover to MOH/DHI
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, information systems, statistics, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL scripts, and data transformations
- Experience with relational databases, Python or scripting languages, and orchestration tools
Skills & Competencies:
- Experience with DHIS2, health data systems, interoperability standards, or data quality processes is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Professional fluency in English
