Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily floor operations across the restaurant, bar and event spaces.
- Lead, roster and coach floor supervisors, servers, hostesses and cleaners.
- Set and maintain service standards and the overall guest experience.
- Handle escalated guest complaints and recover service professionally.
- Oversee stock levels and daily sales reconciliation with the cashier.
- Coordinate private events and functions with the kitchen and events team.
- Enforce hygiene, safety and licensing standards across the floor.
- Report covers, revenue and staffing issues to management.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or degree in hospitality, hotel management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of restaurant, bar or hotel floor supervision experience.
- Experience running shifts and leading a front-of-house team.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team coaching ability.
- Excellent guest service and complaint handling.
- Stock, cash and cost awareness.
- Calm under pressure during peak service and events.
