Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise service during shifts, assign stations and monitor section coverage.
- Brief staff on menus, specials and service sequence before each shift.
- Deputise for the Floor Manager when required.
- Monitor table turn time and guest satisfaction during service.
- Ensure opening and closing checklists and cleanliness standards are met.
- Report incidents, stock shortages and staff issues promptly.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or certificate in hospitality or a related field.
- At least 2 years of food and beverage service experience.
- Prior supervisory or team-lead exposure is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Team coordination and clear communication.
- Attention to detail in service standards.
- Guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and event days.
