Description (Public)
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Undertake training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus
- Prepare teaching/learning materials and schemes of work
- Set, moderate and mark examinations and assignments
- Carry out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer
- Supervise trainees' projects and practical work and participate in trainee practical assessments
- Prepare training documents
- Participate in the development and review of curricula and training manuals
- Perform any other function incidental to the functions of the department
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor Degree or Higher National Diploma in Food and Beverage or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Be licensed by TVET Authority or meet the requirements for licensing by TVETA
- Be a member of a relevant professional body, where applicable
- Have at least two (2) years' working experience from a recognized institution

- Research and curriculum development ability
- Professionalism and commitment to TVET training standards
