Global Lead Project Manager (FSP), Kenya (Remote)

• Provide leadership to cross-functional core teams and extended teams for assigned clinical programs
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines and budgets across the project lifecycle
• Facilitate communication and decision-making among team members, management, clients and third parties
• Apply advanced therapeutic area knowledge and clinical development guidelines in project planning
• Identify, prioritize and manage project risks and mitigation strategies
• Track and report project performance against scope, quality, cost and time principles of project management
• Support the development of less experienced project managers within the team

Qualifications & Experience:

• Advanced degree preferred (as per advert requirements); scientific or clinical background typical for Global Lead PM roles
• Years of experience per advert: typically extensive clinical trial project management experience within a CRO or pharma environment
• Remote position based in Kenya

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of the key principles of project management (time, quality, cost), including solid financial acumen
• Technical and systems competency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and organizational systems
• Ability to delegate and effectively prioritize own and project team members' workload in a frequently changing environment
• Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Sound interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and coordinate cross-functional project teams
• Good judgment, decision making, critical and analytical strategic thinking for complex or ambiguous situations
• Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence others, including cross-cultural awareness
