Description (Public)
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling) at client offices and businesses
- Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade desktop PCs, laptops, servers, and peripherals brought in for service or deployed at client sites
- Partner with the sales team to assess client requirements, design technical solutions, and recommend the right hardware and networking products
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and performance checks for clients enrolled in Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
- Provide clear instructions to clients on how to use their new systems and resolve any post-installation technical issues
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experienced candidate with a background in computer hardware engineering or a related IT field
- High school to Doctorate level qualifications accepted (technical school, HND, Bachelor's, Master's or equivalent)
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and networking
- Experience with system integration and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and adaptability to new technologies
- Good level of English
