Head of Road Freight and CDZ

• Maintain full P&L responsibility for Road Freight (RFR) and CDZ operations to achieve target budgets and EBIT goals.
• Drive market share and revenue growth across RFR and CDZ segments in coordination with sales teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) policies, industry regulations, and Customs procedures.
• Oversee Customs licenses, deferment bonds, tariff management ('Country ACC tariffs'), and standalone CDZ pricing.
• Develop and implement customer solutions for new accounts, tenders, and complex logistics RFQs.
• Manage supplier performance, vendor relationships, and operational resource allocation for RFR and CDZ.
• Maintain risk registers for bonded cargo, refunds, and customs acquittals to minimize operational and financial exposure.
• Direct departmental staff, establish KPIs, perform appraisals, and build a high-performance service culture.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• In-depth technical knowledge of Road Freight (RFR) and Customs Clearance & Declaring (CDZ) products and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and specialized logistics software applications.
