Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests, managing waiting lists and reservations.
- Maintain the guest book and handle event enquiries at the entrance.
- Coordinate seating plans for large groups and booked events.
- Keep the entrance, lounge and guest washroom areas presentable.
- Communicate table availability with floor supervisors.
- Handle first-contact guest feedback warmly and escalate where needed.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- O-level education or equivalent.
- Customer-facing experience in hospitality, retail or events is an advantage.
- Good spoken English and Luganda.
Skills & Competencies:
- Warm, polished and welcoming manner.
- Clear communication and coordination.
- Patience with queues and busy periods.
- Good personal presentation.
