Oversee end-to-end import and export operations, ensuring smooth and compliant customs clearance while working with URA, EACCA, and other regulatory bodies.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead import and export operations end-to-end
- Ensure smooth and compliant customs clearance
- Work with URA, EACCA and other regulatory bodies to maintain 100% compliance
- Oversee documentation and processes for international logistics
- Build strong partnerships with regulatory bodies and logistics providers
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
- 5-8 years' experience in customs, import/export or international logistics (2-3 years in a supervisory role)
- Strong knowledge of URA regulations, EACCA and customs clearance procedures
- Valid driving permit and willingness to travel
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in ERP (SAP or similar) and MS Office
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) - mandatory
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
