Description (Public)
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead technical assessment of the MOH National Data Center including power, cooling, servers, storage, and networks
- Develop a deployment-ready, costed, phased infrastructure design package
- Support NDWH and national-system hosting stabilization and performance monitoring
- Define and test recovery objectives, runbooks, restoration procedures, and failover procedures
- Coordinate with NMS and MOH on warm disaster recovery design
- Establish infrastructure-as-code, configuration control, and change-management practices
- Support MOH counterparts through joint operations and mentoring
- Coordinate with cybersecurity, data engineering, and DevOps personnel
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, systems engineering, computer science, or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, data-center operations, or disaster recovery
- Demonstrated expertise with Linux, virtualization, storage, backup/recovery, and networking
Skills & Competencies:
- Familiarity with RTO/RPO design, DR exercises, and cybersecurity controls
- Strong technical writing, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
- Professional fluency in English
