Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integration pipelines, adapters, APIs, and workflow automations
- Map, transform, validate, and exchange data using MOH-approved FHIR profiles and security controls
- Configure and support interoperability components including OpenHIM, OpenFn, API gateways, and CI/CD pipelines
- Support event-streaming workflows using Kafka where approved
- Establish and maintain MOH-controlled repositories, automated testing, and deployment procedures
- Troubleshoot interface failures, message queues, API performance, and data-validation errors
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and user acceptance testing
- Pair with MOH engineers to transfer integration and DevOps capability
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related discipline
- At least 4 years of experience in systems integration, backend development, or DevOps
- Practical experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, Git, CI/CD, Linux, Docker, and monitoring
Skills & Competencies:
- Experience with HL7 FHIR, OpenHIM, OpenFn, Kafka, and API management is strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Professional fluency in English
