International Operations Manager

• Contribute to delivery of the country programme and ensure operations are carried out effectively
• Ensure annual and longer-term management targets are met
• Determine optimal approaches for improving effectiveness and efficiency of business management
• Drive knowledge management practices within the office
• Ensure integrity of financial systems and review of budget requirements
• Supervise operations staff with transparent leadership approaches
• Oversee official travel, logistics and premises management
• Ensure high quality provision of procurement and project support services
• Facilitate human resources administration in coordination with regional HRBP

Qualifications & Experience:

• Advanced university degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in operations management
• Experience in international development or UN system operations is highly desirable

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong strategic planning and operations management skills
• Excellent financial management and procurement knowledge
• Leadership and people management capabilities
• Knowledge of UN systems and procedures is an advantage
