Plans and purchases parts and materials for assigned warehouses or branches, balancing inventory levels with demand, placing purchase orders, and controlling stock accuracy and health.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan stock levels and replenishment for assigned locations using demand history and seasonality.
- Raise and follow up purchase orders with the OEM and approved suppliers in SAP.
- Coordinate with suppliers on prices, lead times and back-orders.
- Run cycle counts and investigate stock variances with warehouse teams.
- Report availability, stock value and slow-moving stock.
- Follow procurement and inventory policies.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering or Supply Chain.
- 3-5 years of inventory or procurement experience, preferably in automotive parts.
- Strong skills in Inventory Management, Procurement Process Management, Supplier Management, ERP systems, Excel, and Data Analysis.
