• Assist with IT audit planning and documenting processes and control environments
• Perform basic control testing under supervision
• Support the analysis of system vulnerabilities and security incidents
• Help review policies and procedures
• Contribute to cybersecurity awareness materials
• Prepare clear workpapers and reports under supervision
• Collaborate with the audit and risk teams on client engagements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Accounting or a related field
• No experience required

Skills & Competencies:

• Foundational knowledge of information systems, IT infrastructure and basic networking concepts
• Interest in IT audit, cybersecurity frameworks, risk management and internal controls
• Ability to collect, organize and analyze data using spreadsheets or other analytical tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and an ethical mindset
• Familiarity with common operating systems, office productivity software and basic security best practices is an added advantage
• Willingness to learn, collaborate in a team and work on-site at the Uganda office
