Acorns International School is hiring a Lead Teacher for the Secondary section at its Bunga campus. A Lead/Subject Teacher is responsible for providing education and guidance to students, designing and implementing lesson plans, developing instructional materials and assessing student performance.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Teaching all areas of the curriculum
Preparing the classroom for lessons
Classroom display and submission of paperwork
Tidying up and keeping the classroom in good order
Working one-to-one or with small groups of pupils
Professional development and collaborative planning
Creating displays of pupils' work
Helping on school outings or at school events
Report and liaison with parents/guardians in collaboration with the Head of Department
Student assessment and report writing in a timely manner
Participate in preparing for school events in their respective departments
Keep school resources safe and clean, ensuring proper maintenance of the classroom and its facilities
Develop and promote ATL skills and encourage development of Cambridge learner profiles among the students
