Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide legal information and assistance within the programme's mandate
- Support referrals and access to justice for clients
- Document cases appropriately
- Liaise with relevant legal and protection actors
- Support programme implementation and field operations working with refugee and host communities
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized institution and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Bar Course)
- Applicants MUST possess a valid Practicing Certificate
- At least two years' experience in legal practice
Skills & Competencies:
- Legal research, documentation and case management skills
- Referral and stakeholder liaison skills
- Strong communication, teamwork, organisation and report-writing skills
- Commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, accountability and non-discrimination
- Willingness to live and work at the selected duty station and undertake field travel
