Manager - IT Security Governance

• Develop, implement and maintain security policies, standards and guidelines
• Ensure alignment with ISO 27001, NIST, and regulatory requirements
• Lead department risk assessment processes
• Develop and oversee risk treatment plans
• Ensure compliance with Bank of Uganda cybersecurity guidelines
• Implement and manage security frameworks (ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST CSF)
• Establish and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Develop and enforce third-party security agreements
• Establish security awareness programs
• Develop the organization's long-term information security strategy

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's Degree in Digital Security is an added advantage
• Information Security certification (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, CRISC or equivalent) required
• At least 6 years' experience with minimum 3 years in Information Security in a bank/financial services environment

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of risk management processes
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies related to information security
• Strong analytical and governance skills
