Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Analyze customer behavior, pricing trends and demand forecasts
- Prepare weekly and monthly market intelligence reports
- Identify new business opportunities and target customer segments
- Support sales, procurement and business development teams with market insights
- Monitor logistics, import-export and transportation trends across East Africa
- Present analytical reports and strategic recommendations to senior management
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics or a related field
- 1-5 years of experience in market research, analytics or business intelligence
- Experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of French or Swahili is an added advantage
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI and Microsoft Office
