The Material Analyst is responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring database accuracy, and optimizing replenishment processes for drilling-related materials.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure all stock items and their parameters are set to optimum levels to avoid overstock or zero stock.
- Guarantee accuracy and updates of the stock database.
- Ensure alignment between financial and physical stock records.
- Coordinate with Technical Administrators for accurate Material Master Form (MMF) input.
- Manage replenishment planning and oversee SAP material master creations.
- Work with Logistics/Warehouse to reconcile physical inventory against SAP.
- Coordinate dead stock reduction and support partners' inventory audits.
- Control returned materials from drilling activities and manage C&P stock transactions.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of international experience in managing Drilling & Wells related materials.
- Strong understanding of Drilling Service field operations, inventory control, and materials management processes.
- Knowledge of material specification, certification, and verification processes.
- Ability to understand interfaces between materials functions, user departments, and Technical Administrators.
- Good inter-personal and analytical skills.
- Open to Ugandan Nationals only.
