Nurse

• Provide nursing care to patients attending the IDC, including clinical assessment, triaging, and investigations in line with standard treatment guidelines
• Assist in management of very sick patients brought to Urgent Care and support appropriate referral of complex cases
• Lead education and facility sensitization efforts to build knowledge among clients and attendants
• Participate in identification, implementation and documentation of continuous quality improvement activities
• Assist medical doctors in carrying out clinical procedures and provide translation services as required
• Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) to ensure completeness of source documents
• Guide the clinical practice and duties of other nursing staff
• Participate in clinic research studies as requested

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Full and active registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (valid general practice license)
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in a clinical setting
