Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan, assess, and adapt therapeutic and modified diets to meet individual patient needs in cooperation with healthcare staff.
- Instruct the catering team on food preparation in diet kitchens for conformance with prescribed diets and sanitation standards.
- Monitor nutrition programs to ensure compliance with local standards and health regulations.
- Perform administrative and clinical nutrition support duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics or related field.
- Must be indexed by Kenya Nutritionists and Dietitian Institute (KNDI).
- Must demonstrate high integrity and ethical practice.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to solve problems by applying relevant nutrition knowledge.
- Strong multitasking, communication, and team working skills.
