Cads Ventures Ltd is hiring 6 fresher Officers for Debt Collection & Recovery in Kampala. The role is responsible for contacting delinquent debtors, negotiating repayment schedules, recovering cash for client banks and corporate institutions, and analyzing debt recovery data.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage assigned outsourced debt portfolios to achieve target monthly cash collections
- Contact delinquent debtors via phone calls, letters, and field visits to negotiate debt settlements
- Maintain detailed records of debtor communications, payment commitments, and recovery status
- Analyze loan account statements and support management in portfolio recovery planning
- Ensure strict compliance with legal, ethical, and corporate debt recovery guidelines
- Prepare regular recovery progress reports for supervisory review
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Fresher position; no prior work experience required (0–2 years)
Skills & Competencies:
- Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, account analysis, and tracking
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and persuasion skills
- High level of firmness, professionalism, and ethical conduct
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
